Amendments related to Order Proceedings in Civil Procedure Code

On August 10, 2018 amendments have been made to Civil Procedure Code. Pursuant to the amendments a claim made by creditor based on the notarized contract and claims for compensation for gas, water, electricity or heating energy used in household are not subject to the court order proceedings (i.e. expedited process).

In addition, the new amendments exclude a possibility for the claims concerning contracts with licensed communication services and claims arising from contracts concluded with credit organizations to be subject to court order procedures.

The law comes into force on January 1, 2019.
