Amendments to the Law on Protection of Consumers’ Rights

The Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan On Protection of Consumers' Rights has been amended by the Law dated May 4, 2018. Pursuant to the amendments that came into force on June 14, 2018, goods production (sale) of which requires licensing or certification may be advertised only on the basis of appropriate conforming documents. Such advertisements shall include the number and date of issue of the relevant license and certificate, as well as  the name of the issuing authority.
