Azerbaijan Joins the UN Convention on the Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts

Azerbaijan Republic adopted the Law on Ratification of United Nation Convention on the Use of Electronic Communications in International Contracts dated November 23, 2005. The Law was adopted on 6 March 2018 and the Convention came into force in Azerbaijan on March 17, 2018. This Convention regulates inter alia the formation and validity of agreements entered into between parties whose places of business are in different states by use of electronic communications (email, telegram and other communications).
